Each and every year we celebrate Holy Cross heritage day on the 14th of September, but next year, on the 14th of September 2011, we will be having a big event, the HOLY CROSS CENTENARY, CELEBRATING 100 YEARS since Holy Cross was established.
The celebration includes the Hospital and School, so every one is invited. And we will appreciate your donations towards this event.
One of the purposes of the celebrations will be to remind our youth of their heritage and their history. We will also be presenting our culture, the Pondo culture. Various speakers will also talk on the historical beginnings of Holy Cross Parish and it's founding members.
We invite you to attend, and we would greatly appreciate your presence. We are in need of donations, as we will be hosting the whole world, yet we are a small Parish, situated in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, under the Anglican Diocese of Mzimvumbu.
We will soon be adding the whole history of Holy Cross Parish to our website, as well as the youth activities which take place at Holy Cross. Please check back soon for more stories.

Our Services
- On Sundays: 8:30 am Eucharist up to 12:00 by REVD T.G MAGADLA (and also at outstations. Their services are conducted by Parish lay ministers every Sunday, which is holy mass).
- Every Tuesday: At 5:00 pm prayer is conducted by leaders.
- Every Saturday: A special prayer day conducted by Girls Friendly Society and Boys Friendly Society members; send your prayer requests to us and we will pray for you. We also need you to comment about us and advise us. We have a lot of activities. We have someone who will handle your prayer requests 24 hours a day. Please send your prayer requests and comments to the following email address: holycrossparish@webmail.co.za.
- Every Sunday: We have soup kitchen for children in need. We give them food and clothes.
- Every Thursday: Mothers Union Prayer weekly.
- We also run an Orphans Project.
